On October 8, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev chaired a videoconference on measures to increase the role of women and youth in society and ensure their employment.

The Institute for Tourism Development under the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development is launching an intergovernmental research project in the field of tourism: “Tourism contributes to poverty reduction; employment and development of women in Uzbekistan”with Chinese partners  

Mr. Aziz Abdukhakimov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the National Commission for UNESCO, together with Ms. Audrey Azoulay, UNESCO Director General, took part in the opening of the high-level online panel dedicated to the celebration of the International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI).  

On 15 September this year, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Jamshid Kuchkarov, a meeting with representatives of the Russian Government, led by Deputy Prime Minister -  Alexei Overchuk.

On September 11, 2020, the VIII meeting of the Board of Directors of the World Crafts Council of the Asia-Pacific region (WCC-APR) was held in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in a video conference format.

On August 4, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev chaired a video conference to discuss issues of material support for the segments of population in need of social protection and assistance during the pandemic.
