The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Austria was informed that the Board of Governors of the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) approved a project on providing drinking water to 22 settlements in Yangikurgan district and partially in Namangan city worth 54 million USD.

On March 7, 2019, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Italy organized Rome – Tashkent – Moscow – Namangan – Chust online video conference on the issues of implementation, together with Italian partners, of a modern investment project for production of hygiene products worth over 30 million USD.

Issues of further developing bilateral mutually beneficial economic cooperation, in particular on implementation of promising investment projects in Namangan region were discussed at the meeting.
