Samarkand hosts international scientific-practical conference on “Tourism and Education: Ways of their Interaction and Development”. It is organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, Institute of Tourism Development and “Silk Road” International Tourism University.

On November 26-27, 2019, Samarkand will host Central Asian Regional Conference of the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF).
