President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Astana on October 27 to attend the first meeting of heads of state in the “Central Asia – European Union” format.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, the Islamic Development Bank and the OPEC International Development Fund, the UN Development Program launched the project "Sustainable Rural Development".

On October 14, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the Central Asia – Russia Summit, in Astana.

As part of the visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan to Japan, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Toyo University in Tokyo and "Silk Road" International Tourism and Cultural Heritage University in Samarkand.
