President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Abul Kalam Abdul Momen within the framework of Tashkent International Conference.

Views were exchanged on the development of cooperation and the regional agenda.

The Foreign Minister conveyed to the President of Uzbekistan sincere greetings of President of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed.

The strong support for the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan to develop the connectivity of the regions of Central and South Asia was confirmed.

The main attention was paid to building up practical interaction by intensifying exchanges, promoting joint projects and programs in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
