Uzbekistan, Bavaria Prime Ministers hold virtual talks

On June 15 this year, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov met with the Minister-President of Bavaria Markus Söder, via videoconference.
Sincere greetings and good wishes from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev were conveyed to the Minister-President of Bavaria.
Minister-President Markus Söder noted that he supports the economic reforms and transformations being carried out in Uzbekistan led by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and highly appreciates them.
The parties discussed issues of consistent implementation of agreements following the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to the Federal Republic of Germany, in particular Bavaria, and further development of cooperation.
At the meeting, attention was paid to strengthening trade, economic and investment cooperation, the further widespread introduction of advanced German technologies in various spheres of Uzbekistan’s economy, opening high-tech enterprises in Uzbekistan together with German companies, enhancing collaboration in the social and humanitarian sphere.
The issue of holding the next meeting of Uzbekistan – Germany Council of Entrepreneurs in Munich was also considered.
Gratitude was expressed to the German Government for the assistance provided in the fight against the pandemic.
The proposal of the President of Uzbekistan to the Minister-President of Bavaria to visit Uzbekistan at a convenient time for him was noted.
