On March 29, within the framework of the official visit of the Prime Minister of Hungary V. Orban to the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting of high-level Hungarian experts with the leadership of Samarkand and Jizzakh regions took place. The meeting was organized within the framework of the initiative to familiarize with the experience of Hungary in the field of stimulating the socio-economic development of our country.

This was agreed upon during the visit of the delegation of the Government of Uzbekistan to Budapest in February this year. The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of Hungary P. Siyarto and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade S. Umurzakov.
As part of this initiative, Hungarian experts, who enjoy international prestige among European officials, business and public circles, as well as extensive experience in the structures of the Hungarian government, will help our country implement reforms in eight priority areas. These include: agriculture, trade and entrepreneurship, banking and finance, taxes and taxes, health care, education, e-government development and services.
At the initial stage, an in-depth analysis of the current socio-economic situation in these regions is carried out and the development of measures to be included in the Roadmap, which will be approved at the level of the Governments of the Russian Federation. two countries. At the end of the meeting, the participants identified the priorities for future cooperation, and also agreed to create a joint project office for their implementation.
