A meeting was held in the statistics department of the Fergana region under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics Begalov Bakhodir Abdusalomovich. At the event, the work being carried out to fulfill the tasks determined by the decree of the head of state No. PP-4796 “On measures to further improve and develop the National System of Statistics of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was discussed.

The meeting discussed the formation of statistical indicators of the socio-economic state of the regions and cities of the Fergana region. Proposals and recommendations are provided on aspects that should be paid attention to in the process of forming and analyzing socio-economic indicators of these regions. Instructions were given to improve the efficiency of timely and high-quality reporting in each area.

The meeting also exchanged views on the preparation process for the 2023 census.

They talked about the work being carried out on the implementation of the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 710 of November 11, 2020 “On measures to prepare and conduct a population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023”, as well as measures to be taken in the future. For a broad explanation of the importance of this event to our compatriots, instructions were given on the effective organization of propaganda work.

The Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics examined the central dekhkan market in Fergana, in order to study the prices of certain types of food, talked with sellers and entrepreneurs.

And also, the Chairman of Goskomstat provided the staff of the Department of Statistics of the Fergana region with his proposals and recommendations on the use of the tablets, when forming data on the minimum-maximum prices for certain types of food products in the regional central dekhkan markets.

During his visit to the Fergana region, the Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics got acquainted with the activities of the statistical departments of the cities of Fergana, Margilan, as well as the Yazyavan region and examined the pricing in the central dekhkan markets in these regions.
