On December 15 this year, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Academy of Youth under the Ministry of innovational development of the Republic Uzbekistan and the Youth Center under the Association of Korean Cultural Centers of the Republic of Uzbekistan to support startups and develop cooperation in the field of innovation.

The document provides for cooperation in the following areas:

• formation of projects to support start-up initiatives;
• development of joint projects aimed at developing start-up initiatives among the youth of our country;
• organization of educational events aimed at raising public awareness in the field of startups, entrepreneurship (fundamentals of entrepreneurship);
• participation in other mutually agreed areas of cooperation in the field of startups, science and innovation;
• formation of a joint base of promising start-up projects with attraction of investments;
• assistance in developing a business model for commercialization;
• consulting in the development of projects.

At the same time, the parties agreed to hold forums, seminars, conferences, round tables, briefings, as well as consultations between representatives of research and other government agencies for members of the Youth Academy, representatives of start-up organizations, as well as talented and enterprising youth.

It should be noted that the Shinsedae Youth Center under the Association of Korean Cultural Centers of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established in 2012 and aims to develop and support Korean culture among young people. Also, the center annually hosts youth forums, start-up contests, master classes aimed at developing leadership qualities among young people.
