The revenues of the State budget for 8 months of the year 2020

In January-August 2020, state budget revenues amounted to 82,9 trillion soum, of which 63,5 trillion soum falls on receipts administered by tax authorities and 14 trillion soum - by customs authorities. Other state budget revenues amounted to 8.4 trillion soum.
Revenue from mining companies amounted to 22.6 trillion. soum (or 27.3% of total revenue), including income tax 11.1 trillion soum, subsoil use tax - 7.6 trillion soum, income in the form of dividends by the state's share - 3.8 trillion soum.
For 8 months of this year, a total amount of income tax 17 trillion soum and taxes for the use of subsurface resources were received - 10.4 trillion soum.
For the period from January to August, value added tax was collected from the tax and customs authorities in the amount of 23 trillion soum, including taxes by authorities - 11.7 trillion soum, customs authorities - 11.2 trillion soum.
Moreover, the refund of value added tax for 8 months of this year amounted to 3 trillion soum, including in the half of 2020 the amount of VAT refunds amounted to 1.6 trillion soum in July -557 billion soum, and in August - 779 billion soum.
Since July 1 of this year, a procedure has been introduced that provides for the refund of VAT for all categories of taxpayers who have an excess of the tax attributable to offset over the accrued tax amount, and not only for payers applying a “zero” tax rate.
Additional revenues from mining enterprises due to the growth of hay for precious metals, dividends from state-owned enterprises and other revenues of the state budget partially offset the reduction in revenues from individual taxes.
In general, according to an assessment based on the results of receipts for January-August 2020, revenues for the current year are expected in the amount of 125.8 trillion soum or 2.6 trillion soum less, the schemes were provided for by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020".
