Official Statement: 217 coronavirus cases are registered among the population

Head of the State Inspection of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Cabinet of Ministers, Chief State Sanitary Inspector of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nurmat Otabekov:
– 4352 cases of coronavirus infected have been registered in the country. 86 patients have fully recovered on June 7, and in total 3354 (77 percent). According to the Ministry of Health, 981 patients are being treated in hospitals, 6 patients’ condition is serious, and two’s is critical.
More than 45 thousand citizens are quarantined. Almost 22 thousand of them are in a stationary condition.
The epidemiological situation in the country remains serious. 195 infected were registered yesterday in Tashkent, eight in Khorezm and four in Syrdarya regions were detected among the population.
