Official Statement on COVID-2019 in Uzbekistan: 525 active cases

Head of the State Inspection of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chief Sanitary Inspector of the country Nurmat Otabekov notes:
– The number of coronavirus infected in Uzbekistan has reached 2620 people. 2075 people have already recovered. This is more than 80 percent of total number of cases. 11 patients’ condition out of 525 being treated in clinics is serious.
Quarantine measures continue. There was no instruction of quarantine cancellation, which means that all requirements must be fully observed!
