Head of the State Inspectorate of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chief Sanitary Inspector of the country Nurmat Otabekov:
– 2189 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Uzbekistan. Patients’ treatment shows positive results. 86 citizens were fully cured yesterday and sent to rehabilitation centers. 1405 people have fully recovered to date.
More than 52 thousand citizens are quarantined in hospitals and at home. More than 10 500 laboratory tests for coronavirus infection were taken yesterday, and more than 335 000 tests to date.
