On March 10, 2020, Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting of the country’s Employers Confederation with ILO Senior Specialist in Employers’ Activities for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Vladimir Curovic.
Prospects for development of the Confederation and plans for the coming year were discussed at the meeting. Among them are development of the Confederation website, organization of workshops and trainings for employers in order to increase the level of labor literacy of employers in such issues as employment, drafting an employment contract, providing the right to rest, vacation, safety and labor protection.
Vladimir Curovic expressed gratitude to the Confederation’s representatives and its founders for the productive work and assured the ILO’s comprehensive support for further activities of the Confederation.
