Uzbekistan’s Public Education Ministry and EF Education First sign MoU

Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov, and President of EF Education First, Carl-Johan Westring, signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
According to the memorandum, EF Education First plans to invest 60 million USD in development of English in Uzbekistan. Active development of bilateral cooperation is envisaged. The parties are planning to organize an assessment of knowledge of students, teachers and all comers, to conduct trainings for improving knowledge and skills.
The MoU also provides for the assessment of various curricula in English.
