On January 22 of the current year, the meeting of Odiljon Mamadaliyev - head of the Department of Information Dissemination, International Cooperation and Data Exchange with Charles Buxton - international expert within the framework of the evaluation of the Country programme of cooperation between UNICEF and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2016 – 2020 took place at the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on statistics.

The experience of implementing the joint activities in the field of the Sustainable Development Goals and the Multi-Indicator Cluster Survey between UNICEF and the State committee on statistics was analyzed, as well as the achieved successes and achievements on the abovementioned joint activities were reviewed at this meeting.   

At the end of the meeting, it was noted that the knowledge gained as a result of the evaluation of the Country programme will be used as a basis for discussing and planning the joint work of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and UNICEF in a new programme cycle.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
