On January 14, 2020 the meeting of senior executives of the State committee on statistics with a World Bank mission led by William Hutchins Seitz (economist and task team leader) on preparing the research and rendering support in the implementation of the National Strategy for Development of Statistics, on systematic diagnosis of the country, as well as support in improving the statistical system of Uzbekistan took place in the State committee on statistics.

The issues of implementation of the National Strategy for Development of Statistics, as well as the issues concerning the provision of support by the World Bank in the sphere of improving the statistical system and household budget survey were discussed at the meeting.  

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
