On December 24, 2014, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan together with the Trade Department of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region held an Uzbek-Chinese business forum and B2B negotiations on agricultural exports.

The event was attended by heads and representatives of 25 Chinese companies selling agricultural products, and more than 50 representatives of local businesses involved in the production, processing and export of agricultural products in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the Chinese delegation got acquainted with the agricultural potential of our country, export opportunities and long-term plans in this area.

During the event, business circles of the two countries held negotiations on the supply of agricultural products from our country to China.

Following the meeting, a number of agreements were reached between the business circles of Uzbekistan and China on the supply of agricultural products from the republic.

Also on December 23, a meeting was held in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a delegation of the Ministry of Trade of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry where issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of agricultural exports from Uzbekistan to China, establishing contacts between partners and creating clusters of fruits and vegetables were discussed.
