President of Turkmenistan arrives in Tashkent

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has arrived in Uzbekistan on a working visit and to attend the second Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov met the distinguished guest at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.
After the solemn ceremony of the meeting, Turkmenistan delegation left for the residence allocated for them.
Today, the Presidents will discuss prospects for further development of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation.
At the meeting, it is planned to exchange views on implementation of joint projects in trade-economic, transport-communication, cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as on the current issues of the regional and international agenda.
