MITC and ZTE to develop broadband Internet

Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Sadikov met with the Senior Vice President of China’s ZTE Corporation Mei Zhonghua.
At the meeting, specialists from Uzbekistan and China discussed prospects for cooperation in expanding the network of fixed and mobile broadband Internet access. They also exchanged views, studied the prospects of interaction in training personnel, and advanced training of IT specialists.
Senior Vice President of China’s ZTE Corporation Mei Zhonghua expressed the company’s readiness to intensify its activities in Uzbekistan. In support of this, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan and ZTE Corporation
The Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications also expressed support for close cooperation of the Chinese company with telecommunication operators of Uzbekistan in implementation of joint investment projects for introducing the latest technologies to provide modern telecommunication services.
