The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Roumas, who arrived in Uzbekistan to attend the meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government.
The Head of the state, warmly welcoming the guest, noted that due to the trust-based dialogue established at the highest level in recent years, Uzbekistan – Belarus friendship and multifaceted cooperation have reached a new level.
Sergei Roumas, expressing sincere gratitude to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the warm welcome, conveyed greetings and sincere wishes from the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Mutual interest was confirmed in building mutually beneficial cooperation and promoting promising cooperation projects in various sectors of the economy, as well as expanding interregional contacts and cultural-humanitarian exchanges.
The importance of full-scale implementation of the reached arrangements and signed agreements following the official high-level visit to Belarus in August this year was emphasized.
