Kokand is becoming more beautiful and landscaped, appears before the guests from all over the world in all its splendor and beauty.

Construction and landscaping activities on preparing for the International Festival of Handicrafters have already been completed. According to Uzbek customs, guests who come both from all over the country and from abroad are warmly welcomed.

A solemn welcoming ceremony of the delegation members who arrived at the festival from Surkhandarya region took place at Kokand Railway Station. It consists of 60 artisans, bakhshi, representatives of the sphere of culture and art.

Clean and tidy city streets, attractions, social facilities, leisure parks will leave the most pleasant impressions of the International Festival of Handicrafters. Hospitality inherent in Kokand, friendliness, a sincere smile of the townspeople will not leave anyone indifferent.
