The Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority is a federal government agency reporting to the UAE Cabinet of Ministers.

 

During the visit, Uzbekistan delegation became acquainted with activities of the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority of the UAE on strengthening the country’s national potential in collecting data and increasing competitiveness, reviewing and analyzing a number of international competitiveness reports. They are used as a tool for development of the UAE in accordance with the vision of the government, providing necessary information and recommendations to representatives of the private sector.

 

According to the Ministry of Justice, Uzbekistan delegation studied the methodology of involving the private sector in the process of successfully achieving the UAE’s Sustainable Development Goals.

 

Following the meeting, the parties exchanged views on further expanding the prospective cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE in improving the system of statistical activities, as well as the effective organization of work for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of Uzbekistan.
