In accordance with decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, signed ahead of the 28th anniversary of our country’s independence, a group of compatriots who have displayed considerable accomplishments in various fields, as well as foreign citizens who have made a remarkable contribution to the consolidation of interstate cooperation, were awarded orders and medals, honorary titles.

On August 31, the ceremony of presenting these high awards took place at the Kuksaroy residence.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the audience and in their person – all those who today receive state awards in their local areas.

It was noted that in recent years, large-scale reforms have been carried out in the country, whose first results are felt today.

“Never before has a dialogue with the people reached such a level. Only by listening to people can we make the right plans. The changes taking place in all regions and spheres are the consequences of work carried out together with the people,” the President pointed out.

The people-oriented, bighearted policies of Uzbekistan are recognized by the international community. Domestic and foreign policies are implemented harmoniously, with an eye to building a broad dialogue and mutually beneficial relations.

“For us the only right way and the only goal is to further the interests of our people, our native Uzbekistan. Once on this path, we need to practice a profoundly well-thought-out policy. We are facing complex challenges. We set out ambitious objectives as we are confident in our people, in such courageous and selfless compatriots like you,” the President stated.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev called the awardees present at the ceremony one by one, by name, and congratulated them, hailing them as conscientious people with a high sense of duty, as true sons and daughters of our country. The head of our state expressed gratitude to them for fruitful, honest and self-sacrificing work, for the fact that they serve as a model for young people. 

The President presented the designates with their awards.

“Not everyone is honored with such awards. Seeing your in joy and elevated mood, I am overwhelmed with energy and enthusiasm. Once and again, I cordially congratulate you on the Independence Day,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

The award winners thanked the head of state for high consideration of their endeavors.
