On August 23-27, Uzbekistan hosted World Influencers Congress (WIC) at the initiative of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development.

The route of the participants began with the opening of the First International Congress in Tashkent. The opening ceremony was attended by popular opinion leaders, influencers, bloggers, media people, representatives of diplomatic corps, political circles, as well as domestic and foreign media.

The second day of foreign bloggers in Uzbekistan began with visiting the capital of ancient Khorezm. About 100 famous influencers from 40 countries visited the historic city of Khiva, on August 24.

During their trip to Khiva Museum Reserve “Ichan Kala”, foreign bloggers, WIC participants took pictures of famous sights of Khiva and directly broadcasted video and photo materials live, thus attracting the attention of subscribers and visitors of social platforms YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.

The number of subscribers of each of the participants of the Congress is approximately 1-15 million people.

On the third day, on August 25, the delegation visited Bukhara region.

Congress participants visited the unique historical sights of Bukhara, the pearls of the historical part of the city. The next day, the congressmen left for Samarkand.

On August 26, Samarkand, at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the UNESCO representative office, hosted the opening ceremony of the XII International Music Festival “Sharq Taronalari”, which is one of the most significant musical events not only in Uzbekistan, but throughout Central Asia. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Samarkand to open the event. Before the official opening ceremony of the festival, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Uzbek and foreign bloggers who arrived at Sharq Taronalari International Music Festival.

The President of Uzbekistan thanked foreign guests for participating in such a large-scale project for Uzbekistan, and noted that he always supported justice, openness and honesty in everything.

The final event of the program of the 4th day World Influencers Congress became a gala concert and a fascinating show of Sharq Taronalari International Festival.
