At the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-In has arrived in our country on April 18 on a state visit. The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov met the high guest at the Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport.

Today, accompanied by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, President of the Republic of Korea has visited the Inha University in Tashkent where he was presented a project of distance medicine to be realized under the cooperation of our two nations.  

The negotiations between the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Korea are scheduled for 19 April at the Kuksaroy country residence. The parties are to discuss prospects of bolstering the practical cooperation in trade-economic, investment, financial-technical and humanitarian spheres.

A considerable package of documents is expected to be signed during the visit. The sides plan in particular to adopt a declaration on special strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.
