President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for Navoi region on March 12 to review first-hand the socio-economic development in provinces, the state of execution of dierctives given earlier, and to identify new promising dierctions.

The head of our state regularly visits the regions of the country and attaches great significance to the enhancement of economic opportunities, to uplifting the wellbeing of the population. As a result of measures adopted during the trips to the Navoi region in 2017 and 2018, extensive efforts are underway here in this province.

This time around, the leader of our country intends to get familiar with new enterprises, social facilities, energy structures and chemical industry objects along with fish-breeding complexes in Nurata and Karmana districts as well as in the city of Navoi.
