President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Art Soft TexGroup company in Namangan city.

The company produces towels, bathrobes, bedspreads and other products. These products are supplied to domestic market, as well as to Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Moldova and neighboring countries. Last year, goods worth 290 billion UZS were produced, and goods worth 9.4 million USD were exported. This year it is planned to expand exports three times.

The enterprise has shops in Namangan, Rishtan and Yangikurgan districts. They employ more than 2 thousand people. Another thousand jobs will be created with commissioning of shop for production of finished textile products.

Art Soft TexGroup expands its activities and switches to a cluster system. Land have been allocated for the company in Mingbulak and Pap districts, agricultural machinery is purchased.

The Head of the state inquired about future plans of the enterprise, approved projects for organization of enterprises on cotton processing in its composition, seed harvesting, grain processing, feed production, greenhouses and livestock farms.

Projects on developing poultry farming, fish farming, animal husbandry, beekeeping, rabbit breeding, intensive gardening in the region, implementation of irrigation and reclamation activities, introduction of innovations in land management and cadaster systems were presented.

The President noted the need for increasing economic efficiency of projects, their early launching and providing employment.
