The mission of the International Monetary Fund on assisting Uzbekistan in implementation of tax reforms will conduct its work in Tashkent from November 27 to December 3, 2018.

During the mission, a number of meetings with the leadership and specialists of the Ministry of Finance and the State Tax Committee will be held.

The delegation will sum up the preliminary results of the Fund’s work and will present the key components of the strategic plan for tax administration reforms.

In addition, the mission is expected to provide recommendations on further improving the tax system in Uzbekistan and discuss further steps of cooperation in implementing reforms in this area.

Experts from international financial institutions were invited to the country within the framework of implementation of tasks of organizing technical assistance in implementing the tax system reforms set by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
