Delegation of the Academic Musical Drama Theatre of Naryn region in Kyrgyzstan led by the State Advisor to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on cultural and spirituality issues, people's writer of Kyrgyzstan Sultan Rayev arrived in Tashkent.
In this regard, a solemn event was held at Uzbekistan State Musical Theater named after Mukimiy.
Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Sayfullayev and others noted the development of cultural ties between the two countries, which are linked by similarity of traditions and customs.
Best performances of Uzbekistan’s theater groups are successfully demonstrated in Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan’s theatre groups are making creative tours to Uzbekistan. Last year, Uzbekistan Culture Days were held in Bishkek. On October 24-28, 2018, Tashkent and Samarkand will host Kyrgyzstan Culture Days.
The State Musical Theatre named after Mukimiy presented “My Poplar in a Red Headscarf” performance based on Chingiz Aytmatov’s novel.
Arias and songs from performances of the theater’s repertoire were also performed for guests.
During the two-day tour, the audience will be shown Rayev’s “Man” performed by Naryn Academic Musical Drama Theater of Kyrgyzstan.
