Development of national audit is an important task

Tashkent Financial Institute hosted a conference devoted to priority directions of further development of audit activity in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the event, information was provided on development of audit, improving the quality of audit services and results of audit organizations.
It should be noted that over the past years audit services market has been formed and normative-legal and methodological base for audit has been created in Uzbekistan. Development of majority local audit organizations, their membership in major international networks of audit firms, recognition of republican public auditors associations by global auditing community played an important role in this direction.
As of September 1, 2018, there are 100 audit organizations in Uzbekistan, 75 percent of which have more than 10 years of experience. 18 of them are also members of large international network and auditors associations.
