Presidents visited the Mirzo Ulugbek Observatory

The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited the Museum complex named after Mirzo Ulugbek. This was reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The complex is organized next to the observatory erected by the great scientist. On the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov it was reconstructed in 2010.
The Museum consists of two halls and six sections. There are more than a hundred exhibits related to the time of Mirzo Ulugbek, books, manuscripts, the original quadrant. In addition, layouts are installed, monitors provide additional information about Mirzo Ulugbek.
Emomali Rahmon gave a high assessment to the Observatory. He noted that in the Middle Ages, our great ancestors, ahead of their time, made breakthrough scientific discoveries, which still delight people.
