On July 28, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Central Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense.
This has been reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Construction of this hospital began in the forties of the last century. At present, it covers an area of 16 hectares.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that the hospital was built according to the former system project, and today, as well as methods of its work, is hopelessly outdated.
It is necessary to transfer the activities of the hospital to the mechanism of public-private partnership, to introduce modern management. Due to this, there will be both revenues and quality, the President said.
Instructions were given on optimizing the territory of the hospital, reconstruction of buildings and equipping them with modern equipment, attracting foreign clinics and experts.
