The President of Turkey, in turn, emphasized that he will use all opportunities for further expansion of mutually beneficial trade and economic ties, this will play an important role in development of the two countries.

During the negotiations, views were exchanged on expanding cooperation in the sphere of transport communications and transit.

At present, new plans and joint projects are being developed for expanding air transportation.

One of the main issues of the negotiations was also implementation of joint projects with participation of Turkish investments within the framework of tourism infrastructure development programs in Uzbekistan.

Views were also exchanged on another important issue – the development of pilgrimage tourism in Uzbekistan.

The sides expressed their unanimity in issues of continuously increasing the trade turnover and diversification of trade by supplying products with high added value and developing long-term investment cooperation.

It was noted that activities in Uzbekistan on implementation of joint investment projects with participation of leading Turkish companies, first of all, organization of production with high added value based on deep processing of mineral and raw materials in free economic and small industrial zones will be further stimulated.
