The Cabinet of Ministers continues the meeting on preventing forced involvement in public works and increasing responsibility of heads in this direction.

The Prime Minister A.Aripov in his speech criticized the forms of forced labor observed in the regions. 

"Improvement works carried out in Jom village of Nurabad district of Samarkand region involved teachers and doctors of not only this, but also other districts. In addition, involvement of teachers and doctors in agricultural works is becoming systemic. Thus, involvement of public education employees to cotton sowing was revealed in Pakhtachi district. 

Directors of professional colleges were appointed responsible for organization of agricultural works in Kungrad district of Karakalpakstan. 

Directors of all colleges and schools in Altynkul district of Andijan region are responsible for the effective use of household plots, and the heads of 9 colleges of Altynsay district of Surkhandarya region were systematically assigned to farmers’ vineyards. 

Teachers of the college were involved even in demolition of illegal buildings. Similar cases are revealed in the city of Urgench and Urgench district”.
