On April 4, a meeting with the delegation led by member of the UK House of Lords and the Vice Chair of the Eurasian Parliamentary Group on TB (EPGTB) Alison Suttie was held at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis. 

At the meeting it was noted that Uzbekistan – UK relations, based on mutual trust and interest, are consistently developing. Contacts at various levels between the structures of the two states give a new impetus to the development of bilateral cooperation in trade, economy and law-making.

Members of the House of Lords of the British Parliament highly appreciated the fact that issues of development of the social sphere in Uzbekistan are raised to the level of state policy, as well as the work carried out in accordance with the principle “Healthy mother – healthy child”.
