President of Uzbekistan visited the internal affairs department No.2 of Jizzakh city department of internal affairs during his visit to Jizzakh region.

In accordance with the instruction of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the command situational center “Safe city” was organized in the department No.2 of Jizzakh city internal affairs department. The center, using geoinformation system, manages the work of road safety, fire safety, security, patrol service and others. Video surveillance and special equipment installed in the markets, in educational and medical institutions, hotels, on roads and in other public places serve to ensuring public order. 

The Head of the state got acquainted with activities of the internal affairs department No.2.

– Such video surveillance equipment should also be installed in the offices of prevention inspectors, preschools and schools, – the President said. – This will increase responsibility of teachers and students. 

The department is located in a two-story building. There are also offices of a citizens’ gathering “Zargarlik” makhalla, “Makhalla posboni” public structure and prevention inspector. 

Shavkat Mirziyoyev talked with the chairman of the citizens’ gathering and the prevention inspector of the makhalla about raising the welfare of the population, supporting low-income families, preventing crime in the makhalla.
