Negotiations are continuing in an expanded format

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani continued negotiations in an expanded format with participation of official delegations.
They were attended by the heads of ministries, departments and large companies of the two countries. Issues of development of cooperation in trade, economic, transport, transit, energy, chemical, agro-industrial, education, cultural and other spheres, implementation of mutually beneficial joint projects were discussed.
Following the negotiations, it is expected to sign a package of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents, commercial contracts.
