More than 10 documents on various spheres of Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan cooperation were signed after negotiations at Kuksaroy residence.
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has signed the Joint Statement.
A Roadmap on reconstruction and modernization of border crossing points, roads and arrangement of the adjacent territory on Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan state border, a Roadmap on issues of cooperation in the sphere of water relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan, an Agreement between the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on some issues of cooperation in the sphere of energy, an Agreement between the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the government of the Republic Kazakhstan on cooperation in the military and technical sphere, an Agreement between the State customs committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan on cooperation in combating smuggling and violation of customs legislation, an Agreement on strategic cooperation between “Uzbekiston temir yollari” joint-stock company and “Kazakhstan temir joly” National company have been signed.
Documents that serve as a basis for direct contacts between the regions of our countries have also been adopted. Memorandums on cooperation in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres between the khokimiyat of Syrdarya region and the akimat of the South Kazakhstan region, the khokimiyat of Tashkent region and the akimat of the South Kazakhstan region, the khokimiyat of Navoi region and the akimat of Kyzylorda region were signed.
Within the framework of the visit, a Memorandum on cooperation in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the akimat of Aktobe region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a Memorandum on cooperation in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres between the khokimiyat of Jizzakh region and the akimat of the South Kazakhstan region, a Memorandum between Uzbekistan National News Agency and “Kazinform” International Information Agency were also signed.
