On April 17-19, 2017, a regular meeting of the Council of National Coordinators (CNC) of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held in Astana.

Representatives of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan exchanged views on the progress of preparations for the upcoming meetings of the Council of Heads of State and of the other SCO statutory bodies, as well as, the upcoming meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization, scheduled on April 20-21, 2017.

The draft agenda, the list of documents proposed for signing, as well as a number of other topical issues of development of the cooperation within the framework of the SCO were discussed.
