Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved a law “On establishment of the Day of Youth of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
According to the law, the Day of Youth of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be celebrated on 30 June.
On 30 June 2017, the decision was adopted to reorganize Kamolot to Uzbekistan Youth Union at the Fourth Congress of Kamolot Civic Youth Movement. At the congress, a proposal was made to announce Day of Youth of Uzbekistan on 30 June.
According to the senators, the adoption of the law will contribute to consistent and effective implementation of state youth policy, all-round support of youth, radical reform of the system of protection of its rights and legitimate interests. The law was approved by senators.
