On 25-28 July, 2016, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov will visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

According to the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan "On measures on organization and conducting of an annual International fruit and vegetable fair" signed on 1st of June 2016 International fruit and vegetable fair will be held annually in October. In the current year, an extraordinary international fruit and vegetable fair will be held from 12 to 14 July in Uzexpocenter.

The law about "The State Emblem" was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.

The symbol of our strength and pride

On 23-24 this year a jubilee meeting of the Heads of State Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will take place in Tashkent under the presidency of President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov. In this regard the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a press briefing for representatives of national and foreign mass media at the International Press-centre of the SCO summit.

On June 23, 2016, Tashkent will host a meeting of the Board of the SCO Business Council in the framework of Uzbekistan’s presidency in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

On 22-23 June, 2016, under Uzbekistan’s presidency, Tashkent will host a regular meeting of the Council of Interbank Association of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

On 21-22 June, 2016 Tashkent will host the Thirteenth Meeting of the Ministers of Culture of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

On 20-22 June, 2016 Tashkent will host a regular meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the framework of Uzbekistan’s presidency in the SCO.
