On November 12, 2016 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China Wang Yi will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan.

This year, the X International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange in our country will be carried out on October 24-31.

The 43rd session of the Council of foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will take place in Tashkent on 18-19 October this year. 

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a decree “Measures on organizing and holding the XII International Uzbek Cotton and Textile Fair”. The decree states that the Fair will be held on October 12-13, 2016 in Tashkent. In framework of the fair it is planned to hold an international conference.

The seventh plenary session of the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan will open at 10 am on 12 October 2016 in the meetings hall of the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.

This is the main professional event industry, held every year in Tashkent, and rightly recognized by the international tourism community as one of the events that shape the global calendar of tourist exhibitions. Held since 1994, the exhibition TITF became the most important and representative industry event for professionals in the tourism business.

On October 4-5, 2016, in Brussels, the delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov will take part in inter-regional the ministerial meeting in the format “Central Asia – the European Union” and the international conference on Afghanistan.

Every year in Uzbekistan celebrated the Day of teachers and mentors. Deep respect for the teacher has taken roots in our territory during old times. "Domla", "Muallim", "Ustoz" - these words during many centuries with gratitude and respect the pupils received from the teachers not only knowledge on subject matters, but also manuals about the valid attitude to people, love to the Motherland, high morals and spirituality.

Students of schools and educational institutions deeply esteem all those who have given them the first vital knowledge. On this day, students with gratitude give flowers and gifts, make confession for their hard work in the course of life

The main national holiday of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the Day Independence. This holiday is celebrated annually on the 1st September, is ceremonial and colorful. This national holiday personifies all dreams and expectations of all Uzbek people which lean on main principles friendliness, solidarity, charity, mutual respect.

Representatives of the various nations living in Uzbekistan, despite of a nationality, religion, the social status all actively celebrate a holiday in each street, the area and the people living in mahallas and in regions.

On August 3, 2016, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov will participate in the «С5+1» format ministerial meeting in Washington DC.
