On January 9-10, 2017, the first round of Uzbek-Afghan political consultations will be held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The law "On national anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted on the December 10, 1992 at the 11th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.

The constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan is accepted by the Oliy Majlis (Parliament) on 8th December, 1992. This holiday is celebrated across all Uzbekistan.

In accordance with Articles 96, 117 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and also Article 8 of the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On elections of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and Articles 5 and 9 of the law “On the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, Sunday 4 December 2016 was determined as the date for elections of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The law about "The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
