On September 16-17, 2017, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay a state visit to our country at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

On September 13-15 this year, international exhibitions specializing in the textile industry will be held at Uzexpocentre. 

Uzbek national traditions and customs will be presented at “O’zbegim” festival of traditional culture, which will be held on September 8 this year in Tashkent.

The main national holiday of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the Day Independence. This holiday is celebrated annually on the 1st September, is ceremonial and colorful. This national holiday personifies all dreams and expectations of all Uzbek people which lean on main principles friendliness, solidarity, charity, mutual respect.

On August 11, 2017, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with participation of the Informational and Analytical Center for International Relations, the UNDP Representative Office and the Office of the OSCE Project Coordinator, will hold an International conference on theme “Central Asia – the main priority of the foreign policy of Uzbekistan” in Tashkent.

Exactly 25 years ago, on July 2, 1992, the Law "On the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted. The state emblem is one of the main symbols of the state, embodying the history of the nation, its present and future.

On June 23, 2017, the Delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Ulugbek Rozukulov will participate in the 74th meeting of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Moscow.
