On October 18-20, 2018, the first Forum of Interregional Cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation with participation of heads of states will be held in Tashkent.

Flagship international business event, the Eighth Annual Central Asia Trade Forum, will be hold for the first time in Uzbekistan. The event, organized by the U.S. Agency for international Development (USAID) and co-hosted by the Ministry for Foreign Trade of the Government of Uzbekistan, will be held on October 17-18, 2018 in Tashkent.

On October 8-9, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, will pay an official visit to France.

On September 27-28, 2018, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CHS CIS) in the city of Dushanbe.
