The Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Qudbiyev met with the Vice President of the Europe and Central Asia Region at the World Bank Antonella Bassani.

On May 31 this year, the 15th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation (IGC) between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran was held in Tashkent. 

On May 26 this year, the Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Kudbiev met with the head of the World Bank office in Uzbekistan, Marco Mantovanelli.

Within the framework of the 32nd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Samarkand, a meeting was held between the Minister of Economy and Finance Sherzod Kudbiev and the Chairman of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) Hayashi Nobumitsu.

Within the framework of the 32nd annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Samarkand, meetings were organized and agreements were reached with the leadership of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as well as leaders of partner countries in the financial sector.

Today, on May 16, the 32nd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has started its work in Samarkand. The main theme of this year is "Investing in Resilience".

On May 12 this year, in Tashkent, under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Aripov and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan K. Rasulzade, the regular 10th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan was held.

On May 8-9 this year, Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, paid a working visit to the State of Qatar, where he held talks with the heads of key ministries, departments and large companies of this country.

On 28 April, the second day of a large-scale event - the Tashkent International Investment Forum - is taking place at the Congress Hall, where relevant topics from the field of business and investment are being raised.
