On December 24 this year, within the framework of the visit of the government delegation of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan in Baku, negotiations were held between the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev and the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov. The meeting was also attended by heads of key ministries and departments of the two countries.

After the memorandum of agreement signed in September last year, the purchase and sale contract on the privatisation of Ipoteka Bank was signed on behalf of OTP Bank by Chairman & CEO Sándor Csányi and Deputy CEO László Wolf and by Finance Minister Timur Ishmetov on behalf of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjaev on behalf of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.

On December 9 this year, a meeting was held between the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov and Deputy Prime Minister of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Hu Chunhua.

On December 1 of this year, a round table on "Ensuring gender equality in Uzbekistan by supporting gender activists and overcoming gender stereotypes" was held at the International Hotel in Tashkent. It was organized in cooperation with the Republican Commission on Enhancing the Role of Women in Society, Gender Equality and the Family and the United Nations Development Program office in Uzbekistan.
