On December 14, the UN General Assembly unanimously approved a Resolution on enhancing the role of parliaments in accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

On December 1 of this year, a round table on "Ensuring gender equality in Uzbekistan by supporting gender activists and overcoming gender stereotypes" was held at the International Hotel in Tashkent. It was organized in cooperation with the Republican Commission on Enhancing the Role of Women in Society, Gender Equality and the Family and the United Nations Development Program office in Uzbekistan.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected a new surgical complex built at the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care. There are cardiac surgery, transplantation, neurovascular surgery, and resuscitation departments. They can provide high-tech medical care to almost 3,000 patients a year.
