On April 26, 2023, Tashkent  hosted political consultations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates.

The delegations were headed by the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov and the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE Suhail al-Mazrouei.

The parties exchanged views on a wide range of issues of the Uzbekistan – UAE multifaceted cooperation, focusing on the full implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level.

They considered proposals to intensify political dialogue and inter-parliamentary contacts, expand the legal framework for interaction and investment cooperation, as well as coordinate efforts within international institutions.

The delegations paid particular attention to the prospects for intensifying industrial cooperation and increasing tourist exchanges.
